Ojai PRIDE

In 1991 Lynne Doherty and her partner Helen Allen started the first Ojai Pride Walk. Along with 6 close friends, they walked around town quietly. Over the years the Ojai Pride Walk would gain more participants and visibility.

 

This year, 2024, will be the 33rd Ojai Pride Walk & the 1st Pride Picnic & Celebration at Libbey Park. We hope to continue Lynne & Helen's vision of having Ojai be a place for the Queer Community to represent, strengthen, support and inspire.
